**Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packaging Machine Operator to join our team. This full-time position requires an individual to efficiently operate and monitor packaging line equipment, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and monitor packaging line equipment.
+ Perform tasks such as inspection, hand cartoning, packing, labeling, palletizing, cleanup, and hopper filling.
+ Assist with line clearances between batches and changeovers.
+ Follow cleanup sheet directions.
+ Assist with troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
+ Monitor operations for deviations, quality risks, or mechanical problems, escalating issues as needed.
+ Identify and suggest improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency.
+ Maintain accurate and error-free records, such as Line Packaging Records (LPR).
+ Follow production documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Follow department safety rules.
+ Attend scheduled trainings and complete annual training requirements.
+ Perform duties in other work areas as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Experience in manufacturing operations or packaging preferred.
+ Mechanical aptitude with the ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
+ Basic reading comprehension and math skills for technical instructions and LPR calculations.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage diverse tasks.
+ Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
+ Basic computer skills preferred.
+ Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. throughout the shift.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in pharmaceutical production preferred.
+ Experience in a GMP facility is a plus.

**Work Environment**
Work in a GMP-compliant facility where safety and quality are top priorities. The role requires wearing personal protective equipment, including white zone gowning, and may involve the use of various respirators. Shift work is from Monday to Wednesday on the AM shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.35 - $20.35/hr.
