TITLE: EPIC PROGRAMMER/ANALYST-Digital Front Door/MyChart\n\nDEPT: Digital Health \u0026 Technology: Digital Front Door \u0026 Tele-Health\n\nFull-time: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri +on call \n\nRemote/Hybrid-Must live within 3 hours from Dayton, Ohio\n\n General Summary/Responsibilities:\n\nPremier Health is seeking a leaning forward team member to help further build our Digital Front Door. This position focuses on MyChart and the utilization of technological and communication skills to address projects and daily needs\n\nThe person who fills this role will need to understand our operational systems and how they align with our departments. Daily, you will use curiosity, innovation and resourcefulness to effectively impact the experiences of our patients, community and caregivers. \n\nPremier Health utilizes the EPIC system as the electronic medical record (EMR) in which patient health information is entered and stored for the purpose of securing patient clinical information and enhancing patient care. Premier Health employs multiple Epic Teams that specialize in a range of applications within the Epic EMR.\n\nThe Epic Programmer Analyst is responsible for application configuration, deployment and support, change documentation, and will educate and inform staff on EPIC functionality. The individual will bring a curious, forward-thinking mindset to anticipate patient and operational needs, based on a strong fundamental knowledge of the system, and the organizational infrastructure to recommend solutions that enable the enterprise to achieve its goals. These responsibilities require the individual to stay current with the systems and/or applications as well as coordinate across multiple and varied teams to deliver solutions for the enterprise. This position will include on call responsibilities.\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation \nMinimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree \nAdditional requirements:\n\n * Type of degree: Associate Degree with 2-4 years job experience or Bachelor Degree with 0-4 years job experience\n * Area of study or major: Nursing, Medical Technology, Radiology, Mathematics, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory, Pharmacy, or Medicine. \n * Preferred educational qualifications: N/A\n * Position specific testing requirement: N/A\n\n\n\nLicensure/Certification/Registration\n\n * EPIC certification in primary area of responsibility within 6 months in position is required.\n\n\n\nExperience\n\nMinimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience\n\nOther experience requirements: Requires knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.\n\n \nKnowledge/Skills\n\n * Demonstrates specialized knowledge of and expertise in: relevant computer systems, applications and interfaces.
