Senior Accountant POST NUMBER: 410099
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and conduct account analyses to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Compile and analyze financial information to support internal reporting and decision-making.
- Maintain and ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes to meet reporting deadlines.
- Assist with internal and external audits by gathering documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase efficiency.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing accounting expertise and insights to support business objectives and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in a public accounting role
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- CPA or MBA is a plus
