In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring compliance with financial regulations specific to the healthcare and nonprofit industry, helping us move forward with purpose and precision. Essential Job Duties:
- Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy of the general ledger.
- Develop and maintain financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) .
- Track, analyze, and report grant funding and income streams to ensure compliance with funder requirements.
- Manage income and expenditure accounts, ensuring accurate tracking of grant-related activity.
- Review and approve bank deposits, assist with payroll approvals, and support bonus/allowance calculations.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and trend analyses for leadership.
- Provide audit support, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure adherence to organizational policies.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to support financial planning, budget development, and reporting needs.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or nonprofit organizations.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience preparing financial statements.
- Demonstrated expertise with grant tracking and reporting .
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial/accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
