LOS ANGELES + travel: Live-in Nanny (G3.5 years & 9-month baby)
A fantastic opportunity for a Norland (or formally-trained) Nanny to join a warm, welcoming family based in sunny Los Angeles.
- Position: Live-in Nanny.
- Children: 2 children; currently G3.5 years & 9-month-old baby.
- Start date: Flexible
- Location: Los Angeles with travel (both domestic and international)
- Accommodation: own bedroom & ensuite bathroom (within family home).
- J1 Visa sponsorship (visa restrictions apply), or US passport or Green Card (essential requirement).
- Driver Preferred (car provided).
- Salary: Competitive for the right candidate.
Both parents have busy careers; with Dad working outside the home full-time and Mum working from home but dipping in and out between calls. Their jobs also require regular travel, so there will be times where you'll have full charge, especially when proxy parenting is required.
- Working Hours:08:00 – 19:00, with flexibility for some evenings/weekends (time off in lieu) and travel/proxy support.
The family employ a full-time housekeeper to support the household, but light cooking is required for the children. There is also dog within the home, so someone pet-friendly is a must.
The family’s current temporary nanny is very happy and staying on until the right person is found, so although the family are keen to move forward, they are not in an immediate rush and able to offer some flexibility in start date.
