• Shift: Rotating Day/Night, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07:00–19:30 & 19:00–07:30)

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 per week

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license (Nurse Licensure Compact) in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• One supervisory reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Tele specialty
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Availability to work at least every other holiday during the assignment
• Background check and onsite fingerprinting required prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit as a Telemetry RN
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes in patient condition and implement appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Perform timely and accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, discharge planning, and self-care after hospitalization
• Participate in orientation, complete required modules, maintain compliance with facility policies, and meet travel nurse onboarding requirements
• Float to similar units (e.g., step-down, progressive care) as needed to meet operational needs
