Busbar & Inductor Fabricator

Minutemen Direct is recruiting for a  Busbar & Inductor Fabricator in Warren, OH. This is a first shift position and pay starts at $21.00 per hour. This is a direct hire opportunity and comes with a full benefits package. This position requires a solid understanding of brazing, soldering, cutting, bending, punching and winding working with copper and other metals using a range of tools and techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and test copper busbars and inductors to exact blueprint specifications.

• Perform metalworking processes including cutting, threading, drilling, bending, brazing, soldering , and forming of metal and non-metal materials.

• Lay out, prepare, and build complex assemblies and windings in accordance with engineering drawings and standard shop practices.

• Conduct air and water pressure testing on components to verify structural integrity and quality.

• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers to ensure product conformance and accuracy.

• Maintain accurate material usage records in accordance with the Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure all job materials are correctly tracked and issued.

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics .

• Perform basic cleaning, finishing, and maintenance of assembled units before final testing or shipment.

• Operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and hand trucks, to move and position heavy components as needed.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area by adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.

• Support other manufacturing or assembly tasks as directed by your supervisor.

•  Qualifications:
• HSD or GED
•   Experience with hand tools, power tools, and machinery
• Training in welding, plumbing, mechanical assembly is a plus
• Familiarity with electromechanics of copper work is a plus
• Ability to lift 70 pounds 
• Blueprint and schematic reading
• Material handling
• Measuring tools and inspection techniques
