Marketing specialist
Position Overview
Our client, a prominent Fortune 500 retail leader, is hiring a Digital Communications Specialist for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This role offers a flexible work schedule (e.g. 9-5, 10-7) and requires on-site presence four days per week (M-TH) at their downtown Cincinnati office. In addition to a competitive salary, the position includes a performance bonus of up to $13,000, equity potential of $3,700 and clear pathways for career advancement within the organization.Relocation Assistance

- Hands-on execution of outbound email marketing campaigns
- Collaboration with campaign management and analytics teams to activate digital communications
- Focus on personalized and dynamic content and refined customer segments
- Use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Analytics
- Reports to the Performance Marketing Director; works closely with senior planners and experience leads
- Career path includes potential advancement to Marketing Campaign Manager or Digital Communications Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including drafting creative briefs, testing, QA, and campaign performance
- Schedule email and mobile messaging in coordination with the Digital Communications Manager
- Collaborate with Campaign Managers on creative briefs using industry best practices and performance insights
- Use workflow management systems to approve and deliver assets to developers
- Coordinate with targeting teams to validate audience lists and segment sizes
- Serve as a resource for campaign managers and creative services to ensure optimal output and efficient processes
- Use data and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of digital communications
- Champion new ideas and educate stakeholders on digital communications best practices
Qualifications
- Must-Have Skills:
- Experience using Adobe Analytics
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in outbound email marketing
- Thorough knowledge of email, push notifications, and SMS/MMS including channel regulations and CAN-SPAM Act compliance
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication and account management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines
- Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Experience with multi-channel retail communications
- Familiarity with marketing cloud platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
