UW Medical CenterHarborview has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager/RN3 to join us in our Operating Room.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Provides professional nursing care while supporting daily operations and team leadership within the unit. Serves as a clinical resource supports staff development and partners with the Nurse Manager to maintain safe efficient and high-quality patient care.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver safe high-quality patient care (assessment planning implementation evaluation)
- Coordinate care across departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff
- Support staff education onboarding and ongoing competency development
- Assist with daily operations including patient flow and staffing coordination
- Promote effective communication among patients families and care team
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain standards of care
- Provide guidance feedback and support to team members
- Serve as charge nurse as assigned and participate in committees as needed
- Assist with unit goals program development and process improvements
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse license or valid Multistate license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of two years of professional surgical nursing experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Demonstrated experience as an Operating Room registered nurse with proficiency in perioperative nursing practice
