Production worker
TITLE: Production Worker-CoolSeal USA
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for utilizing best practices to perform duties safely, effectively, and efficiently - includes support of the converting machines and all manufacturing equipment. This position reports to the Conversion Supervisor and requires the aptitude to develop personal skills and assist others. 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm *shift differential Salary: $16.00/hour starting pay. Shift differential is $1.00/hour for 2nd shift QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at an adequate level. Basic math skills are required. Must be able to read a ruler to 1/16". Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks. Have strong teamwork skills to foster workplace interactions. Dependable attendance and demonstrate flexibility to work other hours as needed. Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow all workplace guidelines to ensure our products meet customer requirements. Assists the Operator in the upkeep of the machine and assists in set up for production runs. Notify supervision of any issues or defects noticed with products or machinery. Assists with periodic inventory sessions as needed. Have a positive outlook on learning new functions to support the continued growth of our business. Support the Company Quality Policy to improve and maintain customer satisfaction. Basic data entry skills to record converting production output numbers. Performs other duties as assigned. WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION: Inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions. Subject to hazards such as moving machinery, electrical currents, falling debris, exposure to chemicals, gases, high heat or explosives.
