Facilities Maintenance Technician

As a Facilities Maintenance & Delivery Associate, you’ll play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly by maintaining facilities, supporting greenhouse production, and ensuring timely delivery of plant products to customers. This hands-on, full-time position offers a dynamic work environment with tasks that change throughout the year, providing opportunities to learn new skills and contribute to a collaborative workplace.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver plant material and customer orders
• Load and unload plants and related products for transport and delivery
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on equipment and machinery
• Assist with building maintenance, including basic plumbing and electrical tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities, grounds, and work areas
• Support greenhouse production by planting, watering, cultivating, and maintaining plant health
• Prepare and pull customer orders during peak shipping seasons
• Participate in seasonal greenhouse projects and production activities
• Obtain a pesticide applicator license with company-sponsored training

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements
• Experience in mechanical, maintenance, farm, construction, or similar hands-on roles is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and greenhouse environments
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn new skills
