Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living is an innovative and rapidly growing company specializing in the ownership and management of luxury apartment homes within the greater Cleveland and Columbus areas. We are in search of a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our vibrant team.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be critical in maintaining the high standards of our properties, ensuring that our residents enjoy a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Your expertise will contribute to the overall upkeep and aesthetic appeal of our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, and HVAC services.
• Respond promptly to resident work orders and ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Assist in the turnover process for vacant units, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational integrity of the property’s grounds.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and manage inventory for supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of general maintenance practices and repair work.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Availability to work on-call shifts as needed.
