Job Title: Material Handler ($18-20/hr.)

Job Description

The role of a Material Handler involves making inventory pickups throughout a customer's facility, packaging and labeling inventory products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance, and inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance. You will ensure the safe loading and unloading of inventory hauling vehicles, training on how to complete product stream sampling and profiling, and perform general housekeeping, including light maintenance of equipment and site.

Responsibilities

• Make inventory pickups throughout a customer's facility.
• Package and label products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Complete product stream sampling and profiling.
• Perform general housekeeping, including maintenance of equipment and site.

Essential Skills

• Forklift operation.
• Material handling experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• 2+ years of experience within environmental service work or material handling.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with basic Microsoft Office (Data entry).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jeffersonville, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
