Accounts Receivable Specialist
Responsibilities include:
- Daily sorting and processing of incoming mail, including returned mail research.
- Payment processing
- Balancing
- First point of contact for the public visiting our office. Always provide friendly customer service.
- Answering phone calls and emails
- Scanning checks and payment batches
- Mailing address changes
- Setting up or updating taxpayers on programs
- Supporting projects in the Treasurer's office such as: Escrow Coupons, Autopay Letters, Delinquent bills, etc.
- Additional duties: backup coverage, month end reconciliations, filing, conveyance review, recycling, shredding, and other projects as assigned.
- Cross training and coverage on delinquent collections, daily balancing tasks, and other areas as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good attendance and punctuality
- 1-2 years of either cashiering, money handling, or banking experience required.
- Ideal candidate would possess excellent customer service, computer skills including excel, organizational skills, experience in a small office environment, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Salary:

$33,000 - $35,000
Schedule:
- Monday -- Friday
- 8am -- 4:30pm
- Some flexibility needed
