Executive Director – Vertical Access, Shoring & Hoisting

Location: Plain City, Ohio; travel required

About the Role:
The Tradesmen Group LLC (TTG) and Tradesmen Crane & Equipment LLC (TCE) are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to spearhead our vertical access, shoring, and hoisting operations. This newly established position will drive operational excellence and growth across multiple markets, supporting our award-winning restoration and equipment services.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee scaffold, shoring, and hoisting operations for TTG’s restoration projects and TCE’s equipment services
• Manage project execution, safety compliance, logistics, and client satisfaction
• Lead business development initiatives, including proposals, contract negotiations, and revenue strategies
• Supervise yard, warehouse, and equipment operations at headquarters and satellite locations
• Develop schedules, budgets, and staffing plans for multiple projects
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and leadership on recruitment, payroll, and operational planning
• Ensure adherence to OSHA and regulatory standards
• Support marketing and communications efforts
• Drive engineering and design innovation for new projects
• Lead strategic planning for market expansion and equipment utilization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in scaffold, shoring, and hoisting operations
• SAIA Competent Person certification and OSHA 30 required
• Strong knowledge of construction logistics, DOT regulations, craning, and hoisting
• Expertise in cost estimating, budgeting, and CPM scheduling
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
• Ability to travel and pass background/drug screening
