HVCH is a 25-bed critical access hospital (CAH) with a full-service Emergency Department, Urgent Care, and Surgical Services, as well as many Outpatient Clinics and Services, and a Rural Health Clinic providing Family and Pediatric care services. We have over 350 employees who serve the residents and visitors of beautiful Logan and Hocking Hills, Ohio. We are affiliated with OSU Wexner Medical Center and part of the Ohio State Health Network.

Your role as a RN

As a part-time RN at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, you can expect to dive right into an engaging, fast-paced environment in our ER. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve assessing, diagnosing, and managing emergency patients, collaborating closely with a talented team of healthcare professionals. Your expected schedule will be 11am – 11pm allowing you to be part of a dedicated team that ensures optimal patient care.

• Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• CPR - approved by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS (within 6 months of hire) - approved by the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Emergency Certification (within 6 months of hire) - PALS approved by the American Heart Association or ENPC approved by the Emergency Nurses Association.
• Basic computer skills.
