Line Leader Details:
- Direct Hire position
- $20.50 to $23.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Various shifts available
- 1st shift 6:30a-3:30p
- 2nd shift 3:30p-2:30a
The Line Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a production line to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. This role involves coordinating team members, monitoring workflow, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining compliance with company policies and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and support line operators to achieve production goals.
- Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure adherence to standards.
- Ensure production schedules are met and adjust resources as needed.
- Monitor equipment and processes for efficiency and safety.
- Inspect products and processes to maintain quality standards.
- Report and resolve defects or deviations promptly.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Conduct daily safety checks and report hazards.
- Act as the primary point of contact between operators and supervisors.
- Document and report production data, downtime, and issues.
Line Leader Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent technical training required.
- 2+ years of experience in packaging.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules and work instructions.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with machinery.
