Electrical Safety Specialist
An Electrical Safety Specialist / Energy Marshal to join our MEP Building Technology team in southern Ohio, near Huntington, WV. The Energy Marshall will lead the implementation, compliance, and enforcement of energy control programs and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) policies. Your focus will be facilitating safe, coordinated system activation while bridging the gap between installation and commissioning teams. Candidates must have at least five years of energy control or electrical safety experience within mission-critical environments or industrial plants. You need deep knowledge of OSHA and NFPA 70E regulations, alongside proven experience developing and managing comprehensive LOTO programs. A CESCP certification and familiarity with commissioning processes are highly preferred. location: Franklin Furnace, Ohio

education: High School responsibilities:
- Oversee the energy control program and LOTO policy, managing planning, site training, and strict enforcement
- Support trade contractors to guarantee total alignment with NFPA 70E, OSHA standards, and company safety requirements
- Validate energization plans, individual LOTO procedures, and Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for safe system activation
- Lead investigations into energy control incidents or near-misses, fully documenting findings and implementing corrective actions
- Align all site energy management activities with ongoing installation and field commissioning work
- Conduct regular audits of the Energy Control Program, documenting findings and resolving contractor non-compliance
