Job Description
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a travel assignment in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and imaging accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general diagnostic radiology procedures according to physician orders and department protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Document procedures accurately within hospital imaging systems
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to support patient care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active Radiologic Technologist licensure/certification required
- Previous acute care hospital imaging experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
