Vision Systems & Assembly Equipment Setup Technician

About the role

Picture your day starting at 7:00am in Hudson, OH. You review the production plan, stage tooling, and bring a new line to life. You dial in a vision system so it reliably inspects every part, configure vibratory bowls to feed components smoothly, and set up the O‑ring installation equipment so throughput matches the schedule. When something misbehaves, you trace failure modes, clear a bowl jam, or tweak a camera setting—then document the fix and keep the line moving.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $20.00 – $25.00/hr
• Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Location: Hudson, OH

What you’ll handle

• Configure and validate vision systems to inspect product to spec.
• Set up and optimize vibratory bowls for consistent part flow; clear jams as needed.
• Install and adjust O‑ring application equipment and verify performance.
• Troubleshoot issues on vision cameras and O‑ring installation equipment.
• Track and record machine failure modes to drive corrective actions.
• Bag, label, and palletize finished goods to meet shipping requirements.
• Empty/dump product from vibratory bowls when changeovers or cleanouts are required.
• Safely drive a standup lift to move skids and materials.
• Enter basic piece counts and time transactions using an RF scanner.
• Replace labels and ribbons on label printers and verify print quality.
• Run and document boundary samples on production lines.
• Consistently meet schedules and timelines while maintaining quality.
• Keep the work area clean and safe and complete all required paperwork.
• Follow departmental work instructions with precision.

What you bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs .
• Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing manufacturing environment.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
• Tow motor/standup lift experience.
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing.
