Asset Manager
-Visits assets periodically.
-Evaluate the physical needs of the community and make recommendations.
-Develop a comprehensive understanding of local rental markets.
-Determine market rents and market strengths etc. and make recommendations.
-Identify additional income generating opportunities.
-Participate in operations review for ownership, providing reports including summary of operations, cash flow etc.
-Assist property management low-performing properties until property stabilizes.
-Assist with due diligence for potential acquisitions.
-Work collaboratively to ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
-Review all first-year budgets to Proforma, providing variance summary.
-Participate in annual budgeting process.
-Perform market analysis, quality assurance reviews, physical needs assessments, and financial statement reviews.
-Communicate with multiple vendors, departments, financial agencies, investors, and lenders.
-Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in the industry.
-Participate in team meetings and work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects as assigned. Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in in business, finance, or related field is required
-3+ years' experience in managing affordable housing assets including LIHTC is essential
-Experience working for a syndicator preferred
-Strong financial skills including budgets, financial modeling, reporting
-Travel required. Location: Columbus, OH Compensation: Negotiable, commensurate with experience, plus Benefits Package & Bonus.
