CNC Programmer

You’ll program from prints, sketches, and SolidWorks models <\/b> , working with Mastercam or NX <\/b> and Fanuc controls <\/b> . Aerospace experience is preferred, and you must be comfortable machining hard alloys <\/b> (stainless, Inconel, similar).

What You’ll Do
<\/h3>

• Create CNC programs for milling and/or turning (VTL)<\/b> from blueprints, sketches, and 3D models <\/b>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Use CAM software (Mastercam or NX)<\/b> to generate toolpaths and programs
  <\/p><\/li>

• Review post -processed code to ensure accuracy and correct output for the specific machine/control
  <\/p><\/li>

• Partner with operators <\/b> for program prove -out, cycle time improvements, and continuous optimization
  <\/p><\/li>

• Troubleshoot machining/process issues with Engineering and Plant Leadership <\/b>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Select proper cutting tools <\/b> and machining strategies for the material/application
  <\/p><\/li>

• Support process planning: identify risks/issues and help implement efficient, repeatable methods
  <\/p><\/li>

• Design/develop or specify workholding/fixturing <\/b> (independently or with Engineering)
  <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

  Required Qualifications
  <\/h3>

  • 5+ years <\/b> CNC programming experience using Mastercam or NX <\/b>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Strong programming background for 4 -axis machining <\/b> (5 -axis is a plus, not required)
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Experience with Fanuc controls <\/b>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Experience machining hard alloys <\/b> (e.g., stainless, Inconel, similar high -performance materials)
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Solid understanding of:
    <\/p>

    • Machining fundamentals (feeds/speeds, tool selection, workholding)
      <\/p><\/li>

    • GD&T <\/b>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Precision measurement tools
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Microsoft Office basics
      <\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li>

    • Ability to read and interpret prints and models confidently
      <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Preferred Qualifications
      <\/h3>

      • Aerospace/Defense <\/b> machining background
        <\/p><\/li>

      • Large complex VTL <\/b> programming experience
        <\/p><\/li>

      • SolidWorks familiarity (model review / basic edits)
