Manufacturing Engineer
- Use CAD/CAM systems to design fixtures, tooling, and CNC machining programs.
- Develop, evaluate, and continuously improve manufacturing methods to reduce cost and strengthen competitive advantage.
- Research new manufacturing technologies and recommend capital improvement projects.
- Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and equipment layout to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Participate in design reviews with product development and design teams to ensure efficient, capable, and scalable production methods.
- Collaborate with vendors to define product specifications, source equipment, materials, and components, and evaluate them against quality and performance standards.
- Estimate production times, staffing needs, and related costs to support management decision‑making.
- Partner with management, design engineering, and cross‑functional teams on manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and process improvements.
- Implement engineering changes and new product introductions into the manufacturing system in a timely and effective manner.
- Apply statistical methods to assess and improve manufacturing process capability.
- Develop clear work instructions and tooling documentation to support production teams.
- Support production departments by troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.

- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field from an accredited four‑year college or university; or five to ten (5-10) years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience programming CNC machines using G and M codes, as well as experience with CNC programming software such as Mastercam.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Experience supporting machining, fabrication, and assembly operations in a high‑mix manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with statistical process control, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting new product introductions and capital equipment projects.
