Sales Support Manager
Core Management Responsibilities:
To participate in the selection of a high performance team. To maintain a high performance team through educating, coaching, motivating, and appraising performance. To set, communicate, and monitor your team's productivity and service goals, monitor associate productivity and service levels, and provide on-going feedback. To manage the team's schedule within budgeted hours and based on business needs. To assign sales support associates day-to-day tasks and direct their work. To exercise independent judgement in the hiring, promoting, assignment, and compensation of your team, and in conjunction with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to effectively recommend such action. To recommend and administer discipline up to and including discharge, in coordination with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
Responsibilities also include serving as your team's leader by modeling and instructing all sales support functions and achieving the highest levels of service indicators. It is the responsibility of this position to perform other related work, tasks, or duties as assigned by the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive and productive relationships—with clients, management and team.
- Exhibits sound business judgment and agility.
- Demonstrates leadership ability; proven ability to manage, develop and motivate others while driving company objectives.
- Prior selling, customer service and leadership experience required.
- Superior time management skills.
- Highly motivated and results orientated.
- High attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Computer savvy.
Physical Demands
- Regular attendance is required with the ability to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to stand for lengthy and continuous periods totaling up to 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to stock and retrieve merchandise.
- Requires ability to operate a computer terminal, as well as grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, listening, hearing, speaking, and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of interacting with employees and customers.
- Vision occurs continuously in the process of merchandising, and interaction with customers.
- Requires manual dexterity to perform product demonstrations with customers.
- Requires a level of personal hygiene conducive to close personal contact with cosmetic customers.

Sales Support Team Duties
House Keeping
- spot clean carpets
- clean elevators/escalators
- scrape gum
- vacuum
- clean restrooms
- clean glass
- pick up trash
- enter housekeeping audits
- update MSDS every 6 months
- ensure that all lights are in working condition
- buff and polish floors
- dust high areas
- clean vents
- paint when needed
Direct Receiving MRDS
- make sure cartons are received in within 24/48 hours
Trailer Scanning
- verify trailer seal
- take care of cartons that need audits, are mis-delivered or overages
Supply System
- keep the store stocked with supplies
- stay within budget
ORCA
- use system to look up and research PO numbers
Hazmat Training
- Complete
Whenever there are no trucks for unloading, the support team should always continue to keep the store clean and ensure lights are in working order. There are several stockrooms and the mezzanine can be organized (i.e., all tables stored together, chrome together, hardware together and sorted, table clothes organized). The support team can help with markdowns/recovery of all departments. Throw out all old fixtures and broken fixtures that cannot be repaired. Communicate with the engineer when we have ballast not working and any other repairs. Make sure all equipment is called in/all terminals are up and running. Most importantly have a mandatory meeting with your team.
