Assistant Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor to teach undergraduate business, sales, and marketing courses; advise students; and contribute to professional and institutional services. Position is not eligible for tenure and begins in August 2026. The successful candidate will also contribute to innovative curriculum development and commitment to ongoing professional development.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in a business or related field by date of appointment; professional sales and marketing experience in a variety of business settings for appointment as Assistant Lecturer. Ph.D. in a business or related field by date of appointment; professional sales and marketing experience in a variety of business settings for appointment as Assistant Teaching Professor.
Consideration may be given to applicants with demonstrated high-quality collegiate teaching experience in business, sales, and marketing courses at the college level, with experience teaching in both face-to-face and online formats. Candidates should show a strong commitment to engaging students in both foundational and advanced concepts. In addition, successful candidates will have a record of effectively engaging students in applied learning experiences, such as case work, simulations, client or community projects, labs, and data-driven exercises, that connect theoretical concepts to real-world practice.
Candidates need demonstrated professional skills (e.g. teamwork, project management, technical proficiency, verbal and written communication) to students and/or colleagues; commitment to pedagogic innovation; demonstrated enthusiasm for undertaking student-centered service responsibilities such as advising and/or undertaking problematic or departmental responsibilities.
