About This Role

We seek an organized and compassionate lead toddler teacher to join our team. The lead toddler teacher is responsible for developing and implementing curriculum that addresses the educational needs of young children who are not yet due to enter kindergarten. This role also involves managing teaching staff within the department to ensure that students' needs are met.

Key responsibilities include designing curriculum to meet the basic and educational needs of toddlers, creating lesson plans, tracking and reporting on students' progress, and maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment.

To excel in this role, you should possess strong leadership and mentoring skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and a keen interest in early childhood education.

• Design and implement curriculum that meets the educational needs of toddlers.
• Ensure adherence to legal and educational guidelines to maintain toddlers' well-being.
• Document and report on students' progress.
• Establish relationships with each family to meet the needs of their toddler.
• Facilitate staff and parent meetings.
• Organize and participate in team-building activities.

• Valid state license or equivalent.
• CDA or Level 2 on occrra in early childhood education.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Prior experience teaching toddlers.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• A keen interest in early childhood education.

Preferred candidates have worked with toddlers in a licensed facility and possess an associate's degree or higher.
