Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2070 - $2130

Key Job Details – Surgical Tech Contract in Ohio

• Location: Norwalk, OH 44857 (Ohio healthcare job)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 18, 2025 – November 17, 2025)
• Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour days (07:00 – 17:00), Monday through Friday
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirements: Minimum two weekday call shifts per week (8 hours each), one weekend 24-hour call per 4-week schedule, and at least one 24-hour holiday call during the assignment
• On-Site Position

Qualifications – Certified Surgical First Assistant Jobs in Ohio

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an OR Tech or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA)
• Active Ohio surgical technologist license required prior to start
• Certification in Surgical Services or as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to respond to hospital within 20 minutes for emergency call
• Must be smoke/nicotine free
• Former permanent employees must have a 5-year separation before applying as a traveler

Responsibilities – Surgical Tech & First Assist Healthcare Role

• Assist surgeons in main operating room and OB (C-section) cases
• Provide first assist duties during scheduled surgical procedures
• Take assigned call shifts: weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage
• Respond promptly to emergency surgical cases while on call
• Prepare, clean, and set up operating rooms and surgical equipment
• Support patient care in PACU after on-call cases as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other clinical units as required, following orientation and within competency
