Cnc Setup Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. As a CNC Set-Up Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines and lathes to ensure seamless production runs. Your role will involve reading blueprints, adjusting programs, and ensuring high-quality output.

• Set up milling machines and lathes for production runs.
• Ensure the machine cell is ready for the CNC Operator to begin running production.
• Change tools, adjust offsets, and edit programs during production runs.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensioning.
• Optimize machine output through program adjustments and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain continuity among work shifts and report discrepancies to the designated supervisor.

• 3 years of experience with 5 Axis Machine, set up, and run.
• 3 years of experience in setup and machining with mills, lathes, punch press, and brake.
• Experience operating CNC mills or lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Experience working with various materials.
• High School diploma or GED.

• Intermediate understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensioning.
• Solid knowledge of CNC tooling for lathes and mills.
• Familiarity with G&M code programming and Mastercam.

This role is based in a very clean, temperature-controlled facility that prioritizes sensitive electronics. You will be working the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm alongside a small team of around 10 machinists. This is a Permanent position based out of Solon, OH.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr.
