Summer Groundskeeper

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Seasonal Groundskeeper to support our facilities team in maintaining the professional landscaping and general upkeep of our Columbus, Ohio locations from May to August. This role involves groundskeeping, general maintenance, cleaning, and setup/teardown for events. An ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, capable of multitasking to meet quality expectations. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday 7am-3pm.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the grounds at all Columbus, Ohio locations, including:

• Corporate Offices

• Dearborn Campus

• Worthington Airport

• Westerville Cylinders

• Perform landscaping tasks, including:

• Mowing, trimming, and fertilizing grass

• Mulching, edging, planting, and watering flower beds

• Cleaning, repairing, and unclogging gutters

• Conduct general maintenance tasks, such as:

• Interior and exterior painting

• Janitorial duties (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing floors)

• Setting up, tearing down, and cleaning up after company events (e.g., picnics, shareholder meetings, park activities)

• Installing, assembling, and moving office furniture (e.g., cubicles, desks)

• Managing pickup and delivery of copy paper and shredding materials

• Refilling propane tanks as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Valid driver's license required

• Availability for potential on-call work

• Safety training and equipment will be provided
