Document Control Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and oversee document control procedures and systems (e.g., CPro), ensuring accurate records, version control, and compliance with retention policies.
- Review documents for accuracy and adherence to legal, regulatory, and company standards; conduct audits and maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials.
- Partner with internal teams to promote consistent documentation practices, provide document access support, and train staff on control procedures.
- Manage Manufacturing and Quality Alert processes; deliver onboarding training for new hires on quality systems and shop floor procedures.
- Coordinate LPA scheduling, documentation, and CAPA tracking; analyze audit data to drive continuous improvement across departments.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A high school diploma is required. Some college or technical school education in business administration, information management, or a related field is preferred. Previous training or certification in auditing of quality management systems (e.g., ISO9001, IATF 16949) can also be beneficial.
- Proficiency in document management systems (DMS) like SharePoint, CPro or CQuest.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with database management, data entry, and electronic filing practices.
- Understanding of IATF and Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs) related to document control (e.g., IATF, ISO, VDA).
- Ability to create, revise, and review technical documents.
