WIC Clinic Assistant 1

POSITION: WIC Clinic Assistant 1
Qualifications and Required Knowledge:
High School diploma or GED required.
Completion of education with coursework in office practices and procedures; or two (2) years experience in office operations or equivalent combinations of training and/or experience.
Training in Emergency Preparedness to be completed upon hiring.
HOURS: Full-Time: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week; weekly Tuesday evening clinic
DUTIES:
- Greet participants; assure orderly clinic flow; assist with paperwork completion; enter data; complete clinic processes (height/length, weight and hemoglobin); load and explain WIC benefits; schedule appointments; prepare and pack for satellite clinics
- Perform traditional office tasks (e.g., answer phone, respond to voicemail messages, pull/return files, photocopying, assemble packets, etc.)
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
