Job Title:Research ScientistDepartment:Medicine | PsychiatryThe Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health is seeking a research scientist to join the Environment, Brain, and Behavior Lab and enhance our research mission. Successful candidates will have a strong record of external research funding, or high potential for extramural funding, as well as experience in developing, leading or substantially contributing to research, education, and clinical programs. Responsibilities include advancing an externally funded program of research, publishing research in high quality peer-reviewed scientific journals, mentoring trainees across levels of academic development, and participating in division, department, college and university committees and initiatives.

OSU Psychiatry and Behavioral Health has a rapidly growing research faculty, with over 20 tenure track faculty, and includes projects in neuromodulation, neurocomputation, interventional psychiatry, personalized medicine approaches, neural and behavioral mechanisms underly risk for such illnesses, and innovative treatment modalities and strategies for prevention and treatment. The Environment, Brain, and Behavior Lab is embedded in our multidisciplinary environment such that research opportunities exist within clinical service delivery models.

Applicants must have an advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D.), with specialization in Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field. Salary and benefits are highly competitive.
