Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner
WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) Hospital Medicine coverage beginning in September. This opportunity supports a well-established inpatient hospital medicine team in Ohio and offers a flexible schedule of approximately 5 10 shifts per month. Assignment Highlights

- Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM day shifts
- Setting: Critical Care
This is a 217-bed acute care hospital with a collaborative hospitalist program supported by multiple medical specialties, including Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Nephrology, and Infectious Disease.
The coverage model includes four daytime Hospitalists (7:00 AM 7:00 PM), two NP/PAs (7:00 AM 7:00 PM), and one dedicated Nocturnist (7:00 PM 7:00 AM). The ICU is closed, and no procedures are required. The facility utilizes Meditech as its EMR.
Candidate RequirementsNurse Practitioners
- Must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) for intensivist/critical care schedules
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active, unrestricted Ohio NP license
- Active DEA
- Current AANP or ANCC certification
- ACLS certification required
