Direct Support Professional -LIMA- PT/1st

Bittersweet is seeking a Part-time Direct Support Professional to work First shift in our Lima day program .

This position is a part time position working three days a week from 7:30AM-4:15PM.

**This position requires requires a valid driver's license & auto insurance. Must have a clean driving record for the last three years.

Direct Support Professionals help enrich lives and make a difference while also providing you with valuable work experience. • Starting wage from $16.50 - $17.00 an hour.

Responsibilities of Direct Support Professionals:

• Provide person-centered supports which requires flexibility, creativity and commitment
• Work in partnership with participants
• Promote communication, choice, independence, socialization, and empowerment for the participants

Skills of Direct Support Professionals:

• Possess and uses empathy in all actions and interactions
• Effectively work in teams with co-workers and participants
• Ability to express patience in difficult situations
• Ability to drive daily routes in our company vehicles and provide transportation for our participants

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid Auto Insurance
• Clean Driving Record for the last three years.
• Ability to pass physical/drug screen prior to start date.
• Must be able to work from 7:30AM -4:15PM.
