Our candidate will be looking for long term employment, be highly motivated, a strong team member and willing to do whatever it takes to make “a business within a business”! Responsibilities of Sales Consultant Includes
= Establishes and maintains good long-term relationships with customers before and after the sale
= Acquire full knowledge of complete product line, features, and accessories available for purchase
= Shows product in the showroom, at off-site displays or shows, and demonstrates boats on the water
= Follows the sales process to improve selling skills, including prospecting for new customers and follow-up on customers previously contacted
= Diligently inputs and maintains an accurate and comprehensive customer list to generate more sales
= Accurately computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance and license fee as well as handing the financing of the unit
= Project a professional and knowledgeable image at all times
= Oversee the delivery of each unit sold
= Introduce customers to the dealership team to emphasize the quality and efficiency of dealership’s service operations
= Actively participate in boat shows and other off-site promotions
= Other duties as directed

= Timeliness/accuracy of paperwork

Stevens Marine is an authorized Alumaweld, Kingfisher, SmokerCraft, Starcraft, and SunChaser dealership serving the Tigard, Oregon area. We are proud to carry a large selection of new and pre-owned inventory. In 1971, Stevens Marine opened its doors as an outboard service shop in Lake Oswego, Oregon. From the beginning, service and satisfaction were the guiding principles of the business. From those principles sprang a remarkable story of value, growth, leadership, and the area's most complete boat dealerships. In the early months of the business, our customer's not only wanted Stevens Marine to service their engines, but they also wanted to buy their outboards from Stevens Marine. After several requests, Stevens Marine approached Mercury Marine and was signed as a dealer since 1971. Today, Stevens Marine is the leading dealer of outboard motors in the West, and one of the largest Mercury outboard dealers in the nation. Each of these brands have been carefully selected to match the needs of boater's across the region. This care is reflected in high standards of construction, performance, safety, finish, value and resale. The small shop in Lake Oswego is gone, but in its place stands two full service dealerships in the Portland area, one in Tigard and the other in Milwaukie.
