Job Summary

Provides excellent customer service, maintains pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the Natural Living area and performs point-of-sale and receiving functions.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provides customers with prompt and courteous service or assistance.
• Assists in receiving and unloading merchandise; verifies that items listed on vendor invoices are all delivered; checks products for quality, count, and condition.
• Stocks shelves and displays and keeps them clean, full and properly rotated at all time; creates displays as necessary.
• Opens cartons and reports pricing information to supervisor.
• Assists with merchandising products.
• Informs management of pricing problems or discrepancies.
• Assists in ordering and maintaining inventory control.
• Handles damaged products according to company policy and assist in controlling shrink.
• Handles returns.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Works in a non-smoking environment where there is not physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, etc.

Requirements:

Education And Experience (E = Essential D = Desired)

• (E) High school education or equivalent
• (E) 2 years experience in natural living operations
• (E) 2 years in a retail environment
