Assistant Professor of Marketing
Defiance College invites applications for a full-time position as an Assistant Professor of Business with a required specialization in Marketing. Responsibilities include a 12-credit per semester teaching load that focuses on a variety of courses from introductory to advanced levels. The position also entails academic advising, assisting with program leadership, curriculum development, committee work, and service to the college. The business programs are accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education.
The successful applicant will have a Master of Business Administration degree, with a doctorate preferred. A doctorate in a relevant field is required for tenure-track status. Preference will be given to those with a strong teaching record, innovative ideas for course development and pedagogy, and a willingness to help students apply their work both inside and outside the classroom in creative ways. Professional experience in the field of marketing is desirable.
