Bartender

Barrel & Bloom is a neighborhood destination in the heart of Linworth, where specialty coffee meets a bold craft beverage program. By day we're a thoughtfully run coffee bar; by evening we come alive with internationally inspired beers from Endeavor Brewing and craft cocktails built on Endeavor's own distilled spirits. We're a team that takes every pour seriously — whether it's an espresso at 8am or a carefully crafted cocktail at 8pm — and we're looking for someone who brings that same energy and intention to every shift.

THE ROLE

As a Bartender at Barrel & Bloom, you'll be the face of our evening experience — executing a creative craft cocktail program, pouring from Endeavor Brewing's rotating tap list, and creating the kind of bar atmosphere that turns first-time visitors into regulars. This isn't a pour-and-move operation; we want bartenders who engage, educate, and elevate every interaction. Deep familiarity with spirits, beer, and classic cocktail technique is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute our craft cocktail menu with precision, consistency, and an eye for presentation
• Pour and speak knowledgeably about Endeavor Brewing's internationally inspired tap selections
• Guide guests through the Endeavor spirits lineup, making thoughtful recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout every shift
• Contribute ideas during menu development and seasonal cocktail rotations
• Operate the POS system and handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Monitor and manage guest consumption responsibly in accordance with Ohio liquor laws
• Collaborate with the coffee bar team to ensure a smooth, cohesive guest experience across all dayparts
• Participate in staff tastings, Endeavor brewery and distillery education sessions, and ongoing menu training

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a craft cocktail, brewery, or upscale bar environment
• Solid foundation in classic cocktail technique — stirring, shaking, building, and balancing
• A genuine passion for hospitality
• Strong working knowledge of spirits categories and craft beer styles
• Genuine enthusiasm for the Endeavor Brewing and distilling ethos
• Confidence engaging guests and telling the story behind what's in their glass
• Ability to stay calm, accurate, and personable during high-volume service
• Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
• Available on Fridays and/or Saturdays (our busiest nights)

Pay: $6.00 per hour
