Plant Care Leader

As a Plant Care Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the health and appearance of landscape beds, including mulch and stone areas. Responsibilities

• Lead and perform maintenance of mulch and stone beds, ensuring they are free of weeds, debris, and foreign objects.
• Monitor and maintain the health of plants, including pruning, removal of dead or unhealthy plants, and general plant care.
• Apply chemical treatments to plants as needed; training provided if not currently certified.
• Operate hand and power tools safely to complete landscaping tasks.
• Conduct weed removal through hand pulling, spraying, or burning as appropriate.
• Perform weed whipping, refuse cleanup, and blower operation to maintain site cleanliness.
• Load and unload materials as required for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Applicator license preferred; willingness to obtain if not currently held (training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
• Capable of walking, standing, and crouching for extended periods, and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment and tools safely and responsibly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
