PCU/Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - AUTO OFFER!

We are seeking an experienced PCU/Oncology RN for a high-acuity unit in Columbus, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to expand oncology experience while working with a specialized patient population in a supportive environment.

Position Details

• Specialty: PCU / Oncology
• Shift: Nights (36 hours/week)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential extension)
• Start Date: June 1st
• EMR: EPIC (Required)
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Unit Size: 24 beds | Avg. Daily Census: 22

Patient Care Focus

• Primarily caring for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients
• Exposure to oncology cases (training provided if needed)
• Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units

Staffing & Scheduling

• Ratios: Goal 1:4 (may flex to 1:5)
• Schedule: Self-scheduling requests accepted (no block scheduling)
• Weekends: Variable based on unit needs

Orientation

• Week 1: Monday–Friday (Dayshift classroom orientation)
• Week 2: 36 hours on-unit with preceptor

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (must be within the last 3 years)
• At least 1 year of current specialty experience required for clinical pass
• Oncology experience preferred (training available)
• Active RN License (Compact or Ohio State License)
• Certifications Required:
• ACLS
• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• Preferred Certification:
• ONS Chemo Certification

• Candidates within driving distance must travel to an Ohio location ASAP
