Relief Veterinarian (DVM) - 1099 Contract

• In-house IDEXX laboratory
• Digital radiography
• Ultrasound
• Experienced technical support team

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and confident Relief Veterinarian (DVM) to assist with coverage on select dates throughout the year. This is a 1099 contractor position with flexible, as-needed scheduling.

You will always be scheduled alongside another DVM— you will never be the sole doctor on staff.

Schedule:

Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

• Includes a 1-hour lunch break
• 30-minute appointment slots

Caseload Includes:

• Wellness exams
• Sick visits
• Occasional minor procedures (e.g., sedated hotspot treatments, wound care, etc.)

Upcoming Coverage Dates Needed:

• April: 10, 13, 17
• May: 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 21
• June: 17, 18, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30
• July: 2, 10, 13

(Additional dates may be available as needed)

What We’re Looking For:

• Licensed DVM in the state of Ohio
• Comfortable with general practice, gold standard medicine
• Strong communication skills with clients and team
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-doctor setting
• Experience with Avimark (or similar software) is a plus
