- Location: Willoughby, Ohio 44094 (Cleveland area healthcare jobs)
- Facility: Hospital Operating Room (OR)
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract
- Start Date: April 6, 2025
- End Date: July 5, 2025
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (8-hour shifts) plus on-call
- Hours per Week: 40
- At least 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist or Surgical Assistant in a hospital OR setting
- Active Surgical Assistant certification or Surgical Tech license (required for Ohio healthcare jobs)
- Ability to take call as scheduled for surgical cases
- Current BLS certification (preferred)
- Meets all onboarding health and background screening requirements
- Provide technical 1st and 2nd assistance for surgical procedures under the supervision of the attending physician
- Assist with exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions to ensure safe and optimal surgical outcomes
- Perform preoperative and postoperative duties to support patient care during the perioperative period
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a sterile, organized, and efficient operating room environment
- Respond to on-call needs for surgical cases as required
