Loan Administrative Specialist & Junior Credit Analyst

Career Opportunity: Loan Administrative Specialist and Junior Credit Analyst with Farmers and Merchants Bank in Dayton, OH

As the Loan Administrative Specialist and Junior Credit Analyst you will support the bank's lending operations with a focus on commercial lending. Working closely with Credit Analysts, lenders, and internal and external partners, you will provide critical support across loan administration, credit analysis, and key lending processes.

Additionally, you will:

• Review loan documentation for accuracy and compliance with bank policies and regulations.
• Manage mortgage escrow accounts and related administrative processes.
• Assist loan officers with filing and releasing collateral liens.
• Support the loan accounting system, including transaction processing and general ledger balancing.
• Request flood determinations, lien searches, and insurance coverage as required.
• Prepare and file home improvement and equity loan documents to perfect liens.
• Track hazard and flood insurance coverage and placement.
• Process daily loan notices, including rate and payment changes.
• Assist with credit presentations, financial analysis, credit risk analysis, and board loan reports.
• Enter and analyze financial data from balance sheets, cash flows, tax returns, and internal profit and loss statements.
• Collect and review ongoing financials from commercial clients, including annual reviews.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and satisfactory credit history
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Positive, professional attitude toward customers, supervisors, and coworkers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently, using sound judgment and initiative
