Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for repairing, testing, and supporting intelligent process equipment at client sites. You will work directly with customers to perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure equipment operates to specification. This position requires strong technical skills, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform equipment check-out activities including initial system setup, I/O verification, and process validation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Execute field modifications on existing equipment, including electrical and control system updates.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and maintain standards.
• Manage service cases to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems and electrical troubleshooting (motors, sensors, power distribution).
• Familiarity with PLC programming concepts and ability to make basic edits.
• Experience with mechanical systems such as pumps, actuators, and pneumatic components.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, DeviceNet) and networking basics.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in dynamic environments.
