Job ID #29147Our client is a specialty manufacturing organization here in central Ohio that is growing. They provide their employees with a stable work environment, excellent benefits, growth potential, non-union manufacturing setting and the ability to work collaboratively with others. They are looking to hire a 3rdShift Production Supervisor. Main duties include:
- Leading a small team of Machine Operators (10-15) on 3rdShift
- Ensuring safety and quality goals/initiatives are met
- Willing to ‘roll up the sleeves’ and help on the machines when needed
- Lead by example (training and helping others move up within the organization)
- Track inventory by using MRP or ERP/SAP type systems
- At least a couple years of experience leading small teams of associates in a heavy industrial environment (ideally a chemical plant)
- Hands-on leadership (someone who was promoted from an Operator to a Leader is ideal)
- Ability to work nights and occasional weekends.
