Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

Responsibilites

• Perform general maintenance on machinery, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues.
• Fabricate guards, perform small welding repairs, and assist with minor projects.
• Inspect, install, and maintain pumps, valves, compressors, and piping systems.
• Support extrusion line changeovers and collaborate with operators to ensure efficiency.
• Log repairs daily and communicate effectively across shifts.
• Assist with machinery installations, upgrades, and panel building.
• Safely install conduit, pull wiring, and terminate Ethernet and communication cabling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (plastic extrusion preferred).
• Mechanical and electrical expertise, including motors, pumps, heaters, and PLC systems.
• Fabrication and machinist process knowledge is a strong plus.
• Ability to interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical prints.
• Basic welding knowledge and safe use of hand/shop tools.
• Familiarity with RSLogix 5000 and industrial automation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, planning, and organizational skills.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift (2 PM - 10 PM, 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, overtime as needed)
