Job Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician

Schedule: Full Time - After Hours On Call Rotation Required

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, grow their skills, and build a career in property maintenance. You will assist with daily maintenance tasks, apartment make-readies, and repairs under the guidance of our senior maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with completing maintenance work orders in a timely manner
• Help prepare apartments for new residents (painting, cleaning, basic repairs, etc.)
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related tasks (training provided)
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
• Maintain common areas and grounds
• Assist with trash removal, light landscaping, and general upkeep
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies (with training)
• Follow safety procedures and company standards
• Provide friendly, professional service to residents

Qualifications:

• Maintenance, construction, or handyman experience is a plus but not required
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Basic knowledge of tools or mechanical systems is helpful
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license is required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in various weather conditions
• Good communication and customer service skills
