Engineer process

Description

Core Responsibilities: Develop top level quality processes and procedures based on multiple customers, industry, and regulatory requirements. Develop and execute training related to special processes to ensure compliance. Co-develop individual work instructions with the Manufacturing and Quality Engineering teams. Perform/Review qualification tests to troubleshoot machines and processes. Lead internal and external audits for multiple Nadcap certified special processes. Perform Root Cause and Corrective Actions on audit findings and production nonconformances. Participate in design, manufacturing, and test documentation reviews to ensure applicable contract, program, design and quality requirements are met. Lead continuous projects in team environment. Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering; aerospace industry experience is a differentiator. 1-2 years of experience with manufacturing process engineering; sheet metal fabrications preferred. Understanding of various special processes and the relationship to material properties in Titanium alloys and High Temperature super alloys. Familiarity with quality inspection tools & equipment (CMM, Calipers, Micrometers, etc.) Demonstrated experience in customer relations and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
