**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel or authorities as directed by Allied Universal protocols.
+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and other personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment for everyone at the location.
+ Assist in controlling access to various areas of the facility, verifying identification as required by site guidelines.
+ Remain alert to emergency alarms or notifications and respond according to established procedures.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
+ Proof of hospital-required vaccines is required.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
