Experienced Maintenance Tech

Banyan Living, a leader in luxury apartment management in the greater Cleveland and Columbus area, is looking for an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This position is crucial in ensuring our properties are maintained to the highest standards, providing a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

As an Experienced Maintenance Technician, you will utilize your technical skills to perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and routine preventative maintenance. Your role will directly impact resident satisfaction and the overall condition of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and systems for compliance with safety standards.
• Respond promptly to service requests from residents, ensuring effective communication and customer service.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliances.
• Assist in the preparation of units for new occupants, including all necessary repairs and cleaning.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and inventory management.
• Work in coordination with property management to identify and resolve ongoing maintenance issues.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repair skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Physically able to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Availability for on-call maintenance duties as required.
